About our company
We are a leader in the field of software and advanced engineering services. Engineering Support Technology Development Company, abbreviated in Persian as Tafahom and in English as ESTD, is a subsidiary of Pasargad Energy Development Company (PEDC), established in 2012 (1392 in the Iranian calendar).
The company provides services including engineering consulting, development of engineering software with a focus on advanced mathematical modeling and numerical analysis capabilities, as well as the development of specialized organizational and industrial software.

Our story
From Innovation to Industry Leadership
ESTD was established in 2012 as one of the subsidiaries of Pasargad Energy Development Company to provide engineering services and develop specialized software in the upstream oil and gas value chain that was accomplished by developing RETINA simulator software. Since 2022, ESTD has embarked on developing software packages in energy sectors.
ESTD ranks first among all active NIOC knowledge-based companies and is on the AVL of MOP (Ministry of Petroleum). Also, ESTD holds certificates from 4 NIOC main subsidiary companies.
Our in-house products:
RETINA Simulation: A Black–Oil reservoir simulation Software.
RETINA Station: Main platform for data management and workflow integration.
RETINA Stimulation: Modeling tool used for designing stimulation methods and predicting perforation efficacy.
RETINA MaintAssist: A kind of CMMS software that helps the users to manage assets, schedule maintenance and track work orders in operation and maintenance of large plants.
ELOG Web App: Web application for recording production data online and reporting in specific formats connected to WRFM CENTER.
